Meeting Nana and Grandpa Onder

We just returned from Inverness, FL visiting Nana and Grandpa Onder. We arrived Wed night and left Sunday morning. It was a fun time. We visited the "doctor" (last pic), raced around in the golf cart, visited the park and played in the sandbox and swings, we spotted many deer and enjoyed the warmer weather. Jonah learned a new way to play on the swings...Superman style. He had a Superman ice cream afterwards to complete the theme. Jonah had fun on various excursions with his Grandpa and was eager to help with cooking and shopping. Elijah got to know Mom and Dad very well this trip.

Here are a few of our favorites so far...

Meeting Grandpa Clark and Auntie Meagan

My Dad and Meagan visited this past weekend to meet Eli. Although it was a short weekend, it was action packed! We all watched Jonah at his gymnastics class and went to the Downtown Aquarium on Saturday. Auntie Meagan ended the day by giving the boys a bubble bath. On Sunday we went sledding and went to a few open houses (always trying to get someone to move out here!).

Unfortunately, it was snowing the whole weekend. Jonah didn't mind because that meant he was able to shovel the driveway.

Here are some pictures from the trip:

Butterfly Pavilion

Yesterday, Jonah, Eli and I went to the Butterfly Pavilion. Their conservatory had 1200 butterflies and we all enjoyed our time there. But the biggest hit for Jonah was in the "Crawl-A-See-Em" room where he spent a lot of time looking at these:

Meeting Grandma Clark

My mom was recently able to come out and meet Eli. The boys had a great time with her here!

While she was here, she was able to see Jonah's ice skating practice.

Jonah and Eli miss her already and can't wait for her next visit.

Eli's One Year Well Visit

Elijah had his one year well visit today. He currently weighs 19 lbs 4 oz (8th percentile). His height is 29 1/2 inches (48th percentile) and his head is 18 1/4 inches (50%). Overall, the doctor said he is doing very well. We took him in for an initial visit the day after he came home and he has already gained close to 2 lbs since then! Unfortunately, both boys have had the flu this week so his vaccines were postponed until next week.

Jonah and his fort

After seeing his cousin Jeb's fort on skype a few days ago, Jonah was inspired to build one of his own today.

He has also developed a passion for photography and took a few pictures of his own.

Here is a close up he took of his airplane.
