Eli's First Cub Scout Patch

Eli earned his first patch at the pack meeting tonight. He earned this patch from practicing the Cub Scout Oath and Law. Like Jonah, he followed tradition and received the patch while turned upside down.

Kidz Love Soccer!

Eli is continuing on his third year of Kidz Love Soccer through Santa Clarita recreation department. He is starting to ask when he will start having games on the weekend so I think we may be switching over to AYSO in the near future. In the meantime, I am proud to say he is one of the better soccer players out there and is doing a great job. Last week, he charged the soccer field toward the ball while yelling "FREEDOM!" and then proceeded to make a goal. So Eli!

First guitar lessons

We finally started guitar! Both boys have been enjoying playing. So far, Jonah has learned a few lines from "Satisfaction" and "Eye of the Tiger." Eli is happily working on playing different notes. When I asked if they liked their lessons they said they didn't like it, they LOVED it.
