Eli's Re-Adoption Day!

We went to court for Eli's re-adoption. This is just another "layer" to show he is our son. We met with a judge and were required to state that we would always care for Eli. This court proceeding also allows him to have a US birth certificate which will make registering for school and other things in his life easier considering his original birth certificate is in Russian! After the court session, Jonah went to school and we enjoyed the day with just the three of us. This is a rare treat for Eli and I know he enjoyed the day with us as much as we did with him.

The judge was the same one we had for Jonah's re-adoption. Also, after court I realized that Eli's re-adoption occurred two years to the day we first met him.

Labor Day Weekend

We spent Labor Day weekend camping at Mueller State Park. As you can tell from the pictures, it was chilly! I think it was our best camping experience yet as a family of four.
