A visit from Josh

Josh came down from Washington for a visit. The first since he relocated out of state. The boys were very excited to see him. Since it was so close to his birthday, we decided to celebrate while he was here.

Russian Heritage Camp

Last week we returned to Colorado for the first time since moving back to California three years ago. Wow, it was strange being back! We attended the Russian Heritage Camp at Snow Mountain Ranch in Fraser. The mountains were beautiful and it was so weird seeing everything so green considering the drought we are currently experiencing in Colorado!

The boys enjoyed meeting other kids who were also adopted from Russia as well as surrounding countries. Dan and I enjoyed some time alone together while the boys participated in camp. We hope to be able to go to camp again in the future!

Final Day of Camp

Jonah participating in Field Day

The boys participated in a talent show.

We took a similar picture last time we were here four years ago.

Archery -- so much fun!

Eli carried the Russian flag during the opening ceremony. He was so proud!

1000 Pieces of Chapstick

One of our summer projects was to complete a 1000 piece puzzle. The boys chose a puzzle that was all lip balms. Everyone helped out with the puzzle, but Jonah was the one who did the most and was the one who finished it up. No wonder he earned the nickname "Puzzle Master" when he was three!
